Electronic payment services for utility billing customers will be impacted between Feb. 15 and Feb. 18. Western Union will not accept payments during this time. All customers currently using Bill Trust will need to re-enroll for electronic payment services in the new utility bill payment software beginning Feb. 18.

City of Amarillo Closes for Fourth of July

Amarillo, Texas – City of Amarillo offices will close Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. City facilities and services, including Public Library Locations, Municipal Court, Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare, Public Health, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Transit, and Solid Waste Collections will resume Thursday, July 5.

Additionally, the Amarillo City Council’s regularly scheduled meeting for Tuesday, July 3 has been cancelled. City Council will next meet on Tuesday, July 10. To watch previous meetings or view City Council agendas, please visit
