Electronic payment services for utility billing customers will be impacted between Feb. 15 and Feb. 18. Western Union will not accept payments during this time. All customers currently using Bill Trust will need to re-enroll for electronic payment services in the new utility bill payment software beginning Feb. 18.

New Play Zone at Gene Howe Park Opens Friday

Amarillo, Texas – The new and improved Play Zone located at Gene Howe Park will officially open on Friday, June 15. A grand opening celebration is planned from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) and the entire community is invited to attend to enjoy the music, hot dogs, snow cones, and fun!

The new Play Zone is located north of 15th Avenue and is between Mirror Street and Martin Road. Improvements include new site amenities like play equipment and a splash pad.
