Date: SATURDAY, JUNE 15th ~ 8:00 am – 10:30 am

Location: Medical Center Park in Amarillo, TX 1100 Wallace Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79106

Description: Children ages 15 and under can get hooked on fishing during this summer’s free fishing camp for
children. Registration limited to first 30 children 15 and under. Parents of Children ages 12 and Under Are Required to Attend the Camp. They will learn the basic fishing skills including how to string a pole, how to put bait on a hook, how to tie a fishing knot, how to load poles
with weights, and different casting methods. They will also learn about fish populations, and the
regulations and rules to follow when fishing. This is a catch and release camp. Fish will not go home
with the children. No State License or City Permits required during camp hours for children 15 and
under. Poles, tackle and bait are provided during the camp.
